Right from the start staff from Wildcat took the time and trouble to find out exactly what it was that I was seeking to achieve from the development workshop for my team.

Scenario
Global One Communications' impending merger with another telecom company meant significant organisational change. It was identified that they would need to improve strategic communication and influencing skills within management, to enable a successful transition and retain core Operations and Engineering (O&E) skills.
First steps
Wildcat One worked closely with the O&E Director to design and facilitate a development programme for senior managers to build skills at both individual and team level.
Implementing a solution
The intensive programme, focusing on enhancing self-awareness as well as communication, leadership and change management skills was delivered over three days, with a review day three months later. Managers developed individual and team action plans for implementation back in the workforce.
The result
The Director and his team were extremely positive about the benefits gained, particularly in increased self-awareness, confidence and interpersonal skills. This was especially the case of communications where strategic contacts were secured with merger decision makers. Similarly, communications with staff improved significantly with the resolution of a number of long-running issues and with an increase in the efficiency and productivity of meetings.
The majority of the O&E staff were retained in the newly merged company.
